You need to introduce yourselves: tell us your major, your intended future occupation, your favorite novels, etc. Within this introduction, you need to embed one lie.
Once you've finished your introductions, you need to read others' introductions and see if you can spot the lie.

ReplyDeleteHey everyone,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Brian Dolph. I'm currently a junior at CSUB and majoring in Chemistry. I'm actually hoping to one day take it into biochemistry and then into pharmaceutical, but I feel that that day is far in the future. I still live at home with my father, and I basically work the weekends at a used video game store called eXtreme Games. I spent my summer break basically working a lot and saving money for books. As it is, I was lucky to actually get college paid for this quarter and to be able to afford books. I’ve actually been accumulating a lot of books over the years that I’ve enjoyed reading such as the Immortals, Sweep, and the Twilight series. I still enjoying watching cartoons and spending time with my family and friends whenever I can, although this becomes more difficult during the school year. Although the first book is already losing me a little bit in the beginning with the physiological ideas, I am determined to do well in this class and to enjoy this quarter.

Before attending CSUB, I spent a year living with a childhood friend of mine in Australia. It was beautiful there and I will go back as soon as my financial situation permits me to. Next year, I hope to begin my special education credentials and graduate work in speech therapy. I'm looking forward to this quarter and this class!
